note that i do not really use, to any great extent, any "social" networks or platforms, other than my own, neither are those necessary - all you need is an email address, but ideally a database to which you have proper access. networking is essentially an address book, with data attached, a database can take it to a global level, my ›company can provide such a database, hosted on our secure private servers, as long as you are compatible with our existing Users.

but - just about any web site is good for networking, as long as it has a facility to comment - just imagine how interesting Internet would be if people were not persuaded otherwise :-/
