I regard Flash, mostly, as a visual pollution.
We don't need no more flying logos and dancing rodents, thank you ;-/
And, it makes crap content and no content site look worse not better.

Still, having said that, Flash can be useful.
I will probably have a look at it when I find time... (2015 ?)
