Hmm... a good question!
A re-definition of Art in the computer era is long overdue.
In my "working model" description, Art is Information filtered through a particular life experience.
This definition works for cave paintings, Giotto, Pollock, Picasso, Cartier-Bresson and all others artists, even pretended artists. The mystery and the pleasure of art is attempting to decipher the information it contains, consciously, or unconsciously.
'Art' that contains little information does not interest me, it is wallpaper and I have no use for it.
