That might be ok, depending on you and your project.
I don't like charging people who earn little money. On the other hand your project could be of great interest to me.
One way of resolving this nasty budget problem is to arrange a photo session where we produce a great number of images - including images specific to your project and also images that might be marketed as stock photography - that is people will pay for right to use those images.
If you want to do it, we should think up ideas of mutual interest, which might be commercially viable. We will not know for several months whether or not our images produce revenue but they do we can do it again. And again, and again etc.
You will need to sign a model release for the images.
