The stream of world events (History) is propelled by three main factors, in no particular order:
1 Psychology
2 Economics
3 Technology
Consider those factors together, as they greatly influence one another.
Other, commonly mentioned factors, such as Politics, for example, are more of a consequence than the cause of events.
